TPACT Standardized Testing vs Showcases

Top Prospects distinguishes itself from traditional baseball showcases, which are held nationwide by several organizations, in a number of ways . . . .

Top Prospects Combine vs. Traditional Showcases

  • Top Prospects Combines consist of 12 objective testing stations that have been proven to be an accurate indicator of baseball performance, while traditional showcases involve games, batting practice and a handful of tests. These showcases can be revealing but they are very subjective in nature, which can leave a lot in question.

  • Top Prospects Combines are executed in a 3-4 hour setting with non-stop activity at a cost of $79-$99. Traditional showcases are customarily held for an entire day or weekend with prices ranging from $299-$599. This is okay for some, but the minimal activity and extra time and expenses are costly during these economic times.

**Top Prospects Pricing: $99

  • Top Prospects Combines provide a timely objective evaluation once testing is completed as part of the package. Showcases often provide an evaluation but do require you to pay extra in some cases. More importantly, if coaches are not present at the showcase, there isn’t nearly as much value. Meanwhile, Top Prospects sends your testing numbers to a list of all state college coaches (as 80% of players are on in-state rosters).
